Here is likely the 1st appearance of the Batmobile! This Batman Menko features the late 1940's General Douglas MacArthur (G.D.M.) on the back, dating this card to the 1945-1952 era during the US occupation of Japan after WWII. Batman is seen driving, with a silhouette of Robin's head on the other side. The Japanese text in the upper left translates "Batman."

Here is the 1st Official Batman 1940's title rookie card in English. This Kagome Menko dates to 1947-1949. Like many early Batman Menko, it features no logo on his chest. We see 'Bat Man' as two words with Gotham City in the background. Click the link to read the story on this Menko!

We can't forget Batman's famous sidekick, Robin the Boy Wonder. This is an early Menko of Robin with the US Occupation Period of Japan back dating from 1945-1952. This one doesn't have the General Douglas MacArthur back. This one has a 4-Star US General. This one under magnification suggest the newly offset Lithography printing, putting this Menko in the later US Occupancy Period from 1950-1952. Nonetheless, this Robin Menko pre-dates the 1966 Topps by at least a decade!

This Menko has the potential of being the Joker's 1st Appearance pre-1966! We see Batman has the oval chest logo established in 1964. Although, the back of this Menko matches the famous 1959 JCM-24 Hoshi Gangu Japanese Baseball set. This popular back design leaked into at least the early 1960's. More research is being done on this back design. If confirmation can be determined this Menko dates to 1964-65...then this would become the Joker's Official Rookie Card! Stay tuned for more updates on this Menko.

Here is more than likely the 1st Appearance of the Vigilante! This Batman Menko dates to the 1950s. In this vintage Batman card, Batman is seen looking back at the DC Cowboy character Vigilante. You can also see Batman's pre-1964 chest logo.

In 1964, Batman received a new look along with a new oval chest logo. This particular Batman Menko may represent the first appearance of the oval logo, as it's believed to date from 1964-1966.
